I am happy to inform you that there was a recruitment drive by Infosys on 9th February, 2010 at College of Engineering, Adoor and 60 students of CEC 2010 Batch have been placed! Congrats all!

.

Apart from CEC, CoE Adoor and CoE Perumon also participated in the drive. Around 117 students from CEC wrote the Aptitude Test, out of which 71 were admitted to the Interview Session. Out of 71, it’s great to say, 60 were selected by Infy! Likewise, 30 students from CoE Adoor and 20 from CoE Perumon were also placed. A salary of 3.25 Lakhs p.a. was offered to the selected students. (Criteria of selection were 65% aggregate upto Semester V and no current arrears).

The Aptitude Test contained two parts: Arithmetic Reasoning (30 questions within 40 minutes) and Verbal Ability (40 questions with 35 minutes). Generally, the former part seemed to be comparatively simple, while the latter was a bit tough to complete within the stipulated time.

The interview was purely HR. No technical questions were asked. There were around 8 interview panels, and most of the questions asked were based on what we’d written in the resumes. It took around 5-10 minutes for a person to complete the interview.

I am happy to hear that Infy guys are extremely satisfied with the performance of students of CEC. And it’s a recent high number of students, in CEC, being placed in a single drive. Special thanks to CEC TPC.
