In connection with ‘The World AIDS’ Day’,an awareness rally has conducted from College of Engineering,Chegannur,under the NSS unit of the college on 1st December 1, 2010. The rally was flag offed by Mrs Smitha Dharan, H.O.D Computer Department. Around 200 students participated in the rally under the supervision of Mr.C.R Ajith Sen and Mr.Ulsah.Some of the teaching and non-teaching staffs also accompanied the students. The rally commenced at 11.30 am from the college premise and covered the Chegannur town.

The rally participants conveyed messages to the public through placards and distributing the notices that providing AIDS awareness . The rally ended at college at 12.15 pm..
