IEEE GUILD GENERAL BODY MEETING

GUILD is an initiative of IEEE CEC to improve intra student branch activities andspecifically to enhance student member retention.As a part of guild implementation, a general body meeting was held at college auditorium on 3rd August 2010 at 4.30 pm. 75 guild volunteers including the exe-com members were present.

The volunteers of each guild along with their mentors were announced. Following this there was an interactive session. A detailed description of how the guild events are to be conducted and how each and every member gets involved in the guild events were given. Guilds 1 and 2 were assigned to conduct events in ‘Maestro’ and ‘Techwiz’ fields respectively. Other Guilds will be assigned events later. A fun session was also conducted to refresh the volunteers.

As a part of IGNITE and ELIXIR, duties were given to the various guilds. The meeting wasdispersed at 5.15pm.
