There had a one day blood donation campaign in the banner of CEC NSS Unit, which fell on 1st August, 2009 at Alappuzha. There was mass participation from all years, and it’s a great success.

Yea, NSS rocks again. There was a camp in view of SUMMIT 09, in which more than 80 students took part. It’s a very wonderful experience for all of us and we could clean up our college premises within five hours time. It fell on 8th August, 2009.

A new language lab for all CECians has started working in our college. It’s been set up with the most modern language learning tools and all the students, especially second and third year students can have access to this facility as of now, in certain batches. Final year students can also join if they want, as there’re certain unfilled slots. Thanks to our PTA for setting up such a good facility for us. Also, I heard that PTA is now trying to install water coolers in all floors,where it’s not present now.
