Hi all,
I am here again after more than a month. Nobody would be missing this blog, I guess. Is there that much readers of this blog and among them, how many visit it regularly?? Ok, leave it.
During this one month, many incidents happened in CEC. I couldn’t log in to post updates… I might be lazy, or even not interested in these stuffs for last few days… Now, I’m back. I expect other contributors also to show interest in posting updates here. New authors are also welcome. Please send me an email at: arunta007@gmail.com
Major incidents in my memory are these:
- 13th Annual Sports Meet was won by Green House (S6B and team), with Red (S6D and team) as runners up
- Heard that in 2009, new course – B.Tech Electrical Engg. will commence in CEC.
- A student of 2006-2010 Computer Science ‘D’ batch, Mr. Vishakh Vasu died by drawning at Aarattu Kadavu at Chengannur, while he’s bathing with his friends at 7 PM on 18th February, 2009. (I personally don’t like to write some more thing about this, as it’s indeed a great loss to CEC, and even more, a huge loss for me, personally)
- A Five day NSS Camp was conducted at a colony near Parachantha, at Pennukkara. It’s a great experience for all of us, one of the sweetest experiences in CEC. It’s from 7th – 11th March.
- Result of Tiger Fives: Semi Finalists – S6A, S6B, S6D and S8C. S6B defeated S6D and S6A conquered S8C and finally, S6B won the cup against S6A for 4-1
- College Day was conducted on 13th March, with Women’s Day in the morning session. It all went good.
- B.Tech exams are postponed due to Lok Sabha elections. Elections shall be on 16th April in Kerala. New time table is available at: http://www.cusat.ac.in/exam_time_table.php
I recently found a blog for CECians run by Mr. Arunkumar P T. Definitely, a very good blog which provides a good platform for all CECians to meet and share their memories, current status, etc. together. I request you all to be the followers of that blog. Link is here: http://akcl.blogspot.com
All of S6 and S8 are busy with their mini and main projects. All the best to all of them…
Other details and updates shall be posted soon…
Keep in touch…
Best Regards,
Arunanand T A,
2010 Computer Science and Engineering.
