Report on C class for first years on 8th October 2009 by IEEE CEC SB

Venue & Time : College Auditorium, CEC; 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

.

A class on C was organised for the first years by the IEEE student branch of college of engineering chengannur. The class started of with an introduction to programming and different type of languages used by industries by Mr Rahul Raj, Chairman IEEE CEC. Then a small introduction to programming languages and principal of programming languages were taken by Mr. Harisankar P S. Which was followed by Mr. Nikhil Babu, Vice Chair gave a small talk about IEEE.

The class was taken by Mr Rahul Ramesh.The class consist of basic topic related to c and programming. The class was an interactive one with aim of making the students more involved in to the class by which helping them find and do programs on there own. The class was attended by a total of 85 first years. More such classes and lab sessions are being planned by IEEE CEC in C and other computer related topics.
