Profoundis – A New Start-up from CEC-2010 Batch!

Hi,

There are a lot of companies started/owned/co-owned by CECians. And there are many being set up recently, too. Yes, we have yet another start-up from CEC. Anoop Thomas Mathew (2010 CS), Arjun R Pillai (2010 EC), Jofin Joseph (2010 CS) and Nithin Sam Oommen (a.k.a. Mamboo) (2010 EC) have joined hands to set up a Software based company – Profoundis (www.profoundis.com).

The organization is based out of Cochin, Kerala incubated in Start-Up Village, Kinfra High Tech Park, Kalamasserry, Cochin. The Company is currently focusing on providing Business Data Anlaytics (Business Intelligence) and Business Optimization (ERP) for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises. The team is parallelly working on some of their ideas to build products along with their services.

Arjun and Jofin had been working with Infosys Ltd. for the last 2 years. Anoop had assisted Mr. Kenneth Gonsalves (President, Indian Python Software Society) for sometime after which he joined a Start-up based out of Hyderabad. Nithin (Mamboo) had worked with Ideamine technologies (another CEC Company by Mr. Jyothis Joesph).

The new team has their main expertise in Python, Django (Python), PHP, OpenERP Implementation, Linux Server Administration, Cloud Services and more.
