SRMEEE 2010 Engineering Entrance Examination for admission to following program will be held on 2nd May, 2010 (Sunday).

Timings: 1000 hrs – 1230 hrs.

Eligibility for SRM EEE 2010 Engineering Entrance Exam

Nationality

The applicant for admission should be a resident Indian national and should have studied in schools located in India in the preceding two years.

SRM EEE 2010 Eligibility Criteria for Qualifying Examinations:

SRMEEE B.Tech 2010 Courses

A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and

(a) For all programs: Minimum 60% aggregate in mathematics, physics & chemistry.

(b) For bioinformatics, biomedical & instrumentation engineering, bioprocess engineering, biotechnology and genetic engineering: Minimum 60% aggregate in biology, physics and chemistry.

In SRM EEE 2010

* Candidates who have attempted physics, chemistry and mathematics in the SRM EEE are eligible for all the B.Tech. degree programs

* Candidates who have attempted physics, chemistry and biology in the SRM EEE are eligible only for B.Tech. biotechnology, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, bio process engineering, food process engineering and genetic engineering programs

SRMEEE B.Arch Courses:

A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 60% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% in Aptitude Test in Architecture (ATA), conducted by SRM University as a part of SRM EEE.

SRM EEE B.Des Courses:

* A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60%.

SRMEEE M.S Courses:

Admission to the M.S. program in any year will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the relevant UG degree program from approved universities and performance in interview.

SRM EEE M.Arch Courses:

* B.Arch. or equivalent.

MBA:

* A Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate of 60%

SRM EEE MCA Courses:

* A pass with minimum aggregate of 60% in the under mentioned “Bachelor’s Degree” of any university or equivalent thereto provided they have undergone the course under 10+2+3 or under the Open University system.

* B.C.A / B.E.S / B.Sc. Computer Science / Mathematics / Physics / Statistics / Applied Sciences/Information Technology/Computer Technology. OR

* B.Com./Bachelor of Bank Management/B.B.A./B.L.M./B.A. (Corporate Secretaryship/B.A. Economics/any other bachelor’s degree, in any discipline, with Business Mathematics and Statistics or Mathematics/ Statistics at main/allied level. OR

* B.Sc. Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as allied subjects OR

* B.E./B.Tech./MBA

* A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Higher Secondary level (i.e., in +2 level of the 10+2 pattern)

* Eligibility conditions such as the minimum percentage of marks/CGPA obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination shall be as prescribed by the university from time to time.

SRM EEE Admission Procedure 2010

For SRMEEE B.Tech. Program

* SRMEEE 2010 Admission to the B.Tech program will be purely on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination of SRM University (SRMEEE) subject to minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For SRMEEE B.Arch Program

* SRM EEE 2010 Admission to B.Arch. program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination and in the Aptitude Test in Architecture (ATA) conducted by SRM University on all India basis as part of SRMEEE.

* SRM Admission would be offered purely on the basis of the merit list by giving equal weightage to aggregate of marks secured in qualifying examination and to ATA score.

For SRMEEE B.Des. Program

* SRM EEE Admission 2010 to B.Des. program will be purely on the basis of performance in the Higher Secondary examination. Candidates short listed based on their Higher Secondary marks will be offered admission directly.

For SRMEEE M.Tech. Program

* SRMEEE Admission 2010 to M.Tech program will be on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination of SRM University (SRMEEE). Candidates with valid GATE score can also apply for admission.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For SRMEEE M.Arch Program

* SRMEEE 2010 Admission to M. Arch program will be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, professional experience and performance in the interview.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For SRMEEE MBA and PGPM Programs

* SRM EEE Admission 2010 to MBA and PGPM programs will be on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by SRM University. Candidates with a valid score in CAT/ MAT can also apply for admission.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for group discussion and a personal interview at SRM University for final Admission.

For SRMEEE MCA Program

* SRMEEE Admission 2010 to MCA program will be on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test conducted by SRM University.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For SRMEEE M.S. (TQM)

* SRM EEE 2010 Admission to M.S (TQM) program will be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, professional experience and performance in the interview.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

For SRMEEE M.S. (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology)

* SRMEEE 2010 Admission to M.S. (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) program will be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and performance in interview.

* Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.

SRM EEE Exam Pattern 2010

1. General: Question paper will be only in English.

2. Questions are of objective type.

3. Each question has 4 alternate answers.

4. The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded.

5. Use of calculating devices is prohibited. Use of calculators, log ta bles and slide ruler, watches with facilities of calculator, pagers and cellular phones are strictly not permitted in the examination hall. Candidates are also strictly forbidden from carrying any textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, envelope or any other material into the examination hall except the Hall Ticket.
