During CEC Alumni Meet 2013, representatives from 2009 batch handed over Rs. 3, 15,000/- to Alumni Association, which was collected for the medical treatments of Late. Ms. Divya S of their batch. Following is a write-up by Bibin Bastian (CEC 2009) on the same.

Dear all,

Regarding the suggestion for utilizing the fund we raised  for  Divya for medical emergency needs,Almost everyone is in favour of this opinion.We had the 2013-Annual Alumni meet at College last saturday(13th July).In this event the entire amount (315000/- three lakhs fifteen thousand) rupees was transferred to Alumni Association account.

So please bring to the notice of Principal or Alumni Association office bearers regarding any of the genuine cases where the students ,teachers or alumnus of CEC are in acute financial shortage to meet medical emergencies.The plan is to disperse a maximum upto 50000/- per case depending on the financial situations of the patient.
